As a wardrobe stylist & blogger, always on the go, there are times I’d love to shoot a quick outfit post, but don’t necessarily have a chance to book one of the amazing, talented photographers I work with. Sure, I take “selfies,” along with everyone else on Facebook & Instagram, lol! But it’s hard to capture a really great shot of your entire outfit that way; one’s arms can only hold a camera out so far, you know?
I was thrilled when local inventor August Johnson contacted me about his latest tech gadget, the Cellfy. (Get it? Selfie… Cellfy!) With the Cellfy, you’re letting your mobile phone do all the work it’s capable of, with this rad little add-on! It’s only a couple inches wide and suction cups to the front or back of your mobile phone, so that you can set your photo timer, stick your cell to any window or smooth surface, and shoot away!
I love my Cellfy Stic (picured above), and take it with me everywhere. It’s one of those inventions that is so practical, you wonder “why didn’t I think of this?” I wish I had… But I’m also grateful such a cool local entrepreneur did!
All photos in this post were taken with the Cellfy Wrap (pictured below), which I strapped around trees, light poles, and wrought-iron fence pickets at the Village in Meridian. Edited on my iPhone with the LINE Camera app.
Cellfy Stics are all over the Treasure Valley! Available at local small businesses like Cell Me, Threaded Zebra, Swank Boutique, Mean Jeans, Mimi Marie, Back on the Rack, Plato’s Closet, Eagle Day Spa, Kiwi Blue Salon, The Studio Salon, Beach Club Tanning, and on their website at www.cellfy.co .
Disclosure: I received the Cellfy Stic and Cellfy Wrap as samples to try out, and and let the inventor know if I liked them. I definitely, definitely like them! I also write for Snow Bunny Magazine, and our ski & snowboard girls LOVE using their Cellfy Wraps up on the slopes, to strap their cell to a tree branch and film themselves doing rad things.
